Ketel One Botanical kicks off summer festival season with sweepstakes

From now through May 1, Ketel One Botanical is offering fans in the United States 25 and older to enter a sweepstakes that will take the winner to a Palm Springs homestay.

The Spritz Oasis features amenities such as a private saltwater pool, a sport court, a covered outdoor kitchen and an elevated Jacuzzi, it adds. “Sunshine and celebrations are synonymous with a Ketel One Botanical Spritz, and what better way to kick off the unofficial start to Spritz Season than with an extraordinary desert oasis experience inspired by our standout signature cocktail,” said Olivia Kupfer, director, Ketel One, in a statement. “Much like watching your favorite musical act, the Ketel One Botanical Spritz is a sensorial experience that truly elevates the moment.” Aside from the grand-prize winner, $200 gift cards will be issued to 25 first-prize winners. These gift cards are redeemable for upcoming concerts and events. The company also says that 50 second-prize winners will receive a Ketel One Botanical Spritz Festival Kit, which includes a portable speaker, acrylic glassware and ice molds.

Lemonade Stand partners with Minor League Baseball

The refreshing-yet-sweet wines from Livermore, Calif., will be available at 25 MiLB stadiums across the United States, including New York, Michigan, Texas and North Carolina.

The trio of All-American wines from Lemonade Stand at Main & Vine, a branch of The Wine Group, is heading to Minor League Baseball (MiLB) parks this summer.

“It’s an exciting time for Lemonade Stand and The Wine Group; not only is the Minor League Baseball sponsorship a first for the brand but we have a new Peach Lemonade Moscato on deck that we know will be a home run,” said Kimberly Geluz, vice president of value portfolio and innovation for The Wine Group, in a statement. “Nothing says Americana like lemonade and baseball, so we are happy to offer a delicious take on the familiar favorite for fans to enjoy at the ballpark or at home on a warm summer evening.” The Peach Lemonade Moscato will join the lineup this month, and the company describes the wine as an infusion of sweet Moscato bursting with all natural flavors of fresh-squeezed lemonade and sun-ripened peaches. Fans can try this new flavor, as well as Lemonade Moscato and Strawberry Lemonade Rosé, at MiLB ballparks this summer.

Pepsi Zero Sugar campaign spotlights Derek Zoolander

After the Pepsi Zero Sugar “Great Acting or Great Taste?” campaign debut during Super Bowl LVII, the company announced that Derek Zoolander will be the newest face of the campaign. The three-time Male Model of the Year made his feature film debut in “Zoolander” and made a short cameo in the original campaign. “We have an advantaged product with the new and improved taste of Pepsi Zero Sugar, so we couldn’t be more excited that people everywhere are trying it for themselves in response to our ‘Great Acting or Great Taste?’ campaign we ran on the Super Bowl,” said Todd Kaplan, chief marketing officer for Pepsi, in a statement. “Derek Zoolander has seen a cultural resurgence, with his newfound TikTok fame that has been amplified by his role in our Super Bowl campaign, so it is only fitting that we extend this campaign to give America’s favorite ‘model-slash-actor’ his own commercial.” Over the next few months, both 30 second spot and 15 second cutdowns will air, with Zoolander being front and center. The company says he will even recreate his iconic 2001 cola pour for the new campaign. These new spots are an extension of the Pepsi Zero Sugar “Great Acting or Great Taste?” commercials featuring actors Ben Stiller and Steve Martin, which challenge consumers to decide whether their love for the new Pepsi Zero Sugar was just acting or whether it truly tastes that good.

Silk recently launched a new campaign promoting Silk Nextmilk. Although it tastes like milk, Nextmilk is made from plants and contains 75% less sugar, the company says. The company teamed up with a younger generation of celebrities to be the faces of Nextmilk: Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, Ella Bleu Travolta, Sailor Brinkley Cook and the O’Neal siblings. Their faces, adorned with plant-based milk mustaches, will be on screens, social media and billboards in three cities in the United States. The company adds that these next-generation stars are “carving their own legacies with the Silk Nextmilk campaign.”
