Mom Water, co-founded by Jill and Bryce Morrison, announced the official launch of its newest offering: Dad Water. Dad Water comes in four, non-carbonated, fruit-infused Tequila water flavors, each with a unique name and persona: Tom, Lime and Tequila; Steve, Grapefruit and Tequila; Rodney, Blood Orange and Tequila; and Gary, Pineapple Jalapeno and Tequila. “Our team has worked incredibly hard to bring Dad Water to life, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with our fans,” said Bryce Morrison, co-founder and CEO of Mom Water, in a stament. “The personas we’ve created and flavor profiles hit just right with tequila. The liquid pods, filled with concentrated drink mix, make it easy and convenient to create a pitcher of beverages in seconds, the company says. Consumers can peel back the lid of the liquid pod, pour into 2 quarts of water in a pitcher to create a zero calorie, zero sugar drink, it adds. Splenda Peel & Pour is available in four flavors: Pink Lemonade, Sweet Tea, Fruit Punch and Peach Mango. Six liquid pods in each package makes 32 servings, the company notes. Sazerac Co. announced the launch of Mango Shotta, a mango-jalapeño-tequila shot, inspired by the traditional Mexican “mangonada” recipe, it says. Mango Shotta combines high-quality tequila with the sweet, fruity flavor of mango and the bold, spicy bite of jalapeño, the company says. “We set out to create something different than anything else on the market today that would appeal to a new and evolving drinker and Mango Shotta delivers — its unexpected flavor profile, lower 26% ABV and arresting orange color create the perfect recipe for Mango Shotta to become the shot of summer,” said Lauren Selman, global innovation and commercialization lead at Sazerac, in a statement.
