Johnnie Walker, a brand of Diageo North America, introduced its latest innovation: High Rye Blended Scotch Whisky. High Rye features a mash bill of 60% rye aged in American oak barrels, and includes notable single malts that are central to the Johnnie Walker Black Label flavor profile, the company says. The resulting taste presents layers of balanced flavors, including sweet orchard fruit notes from Cardhu, rich berry fruit notes from Glenkinchie, and subtle wisps of smoke from Caol Ila that are blended with rye and grain whiskies distilled at the Cameronbridge and Teaninich distilleries, it adds. Packaged in 750-ml bottles, High Rye Blended Scotch Whisky has a 45% ABV, and is available in the United States wherever fine spirits are sold for a suggested retail price of $34.99.

The collection of four foeder-aged beers hails from the barrel room in Jackson Hole, Wyo. All Funk House Series beers have been aged for 20 months and finished in a single oak cask for seven months, it adds.
