Miller High Life turns up the heat

Miller High Life unveiled its latest collaboration with the release of Dive Bar Hot Sauce — a culinary collaboration with Chef Sam Davis-Allonce of Hot N Saucy. This dynamic partnership brings together the refreshing taste of Miller High Life with the fiery kick of Hot N Saucy to create a hot sauce that is sure to elevate every dive bar snack or at home app, the company says. “As a favorite amongst the service industry, Miller High Life is proud to work with Chef Sam to create another unique High Life twist on a dive bar staple with a spicy sidekick that gives you a new way to taste the High Life,” said Frank Cirone, senior director of marketing for Miller High Life, in a statement. Chef Davis-Allonce added: “The sauce is inspired by the early days of my career and the late night dive bar celebrations after long nights in the kitchen with my drink of choice — a crisp Miller High Life. I created this recipe as a toast to that time in my life and all the kitchen staff, bar backs and High Life lovers like me celebrating the High Life with some spice.” Dive Bar Hot Sauce can be purchased at www.hotnsaucy.co for $12 a bottle, while supplies last. For those who missed out on snagging a bottle of their own, consumers can enter to win a bottle of Dive Bar Hot Sauce at www.millerhighlife.com, the company says.

Settling the debate

818 Tequila, Kendall Jenner's premium tequila brand, and Chamberlain Coffee, Emma Chamberlain's leading coffee lifestyle brand, teamed up to create limited-edition Candied Pecan Cold Brew Singles — inspired by the flavors of 818 Tequila Reposado. The pair also debuted a limited-edition Espresso Martini Kit Bundle. Consumers can purchase the Martini Kit Bundle, which features the cold brew singles, a cocktail shaker and a martini glass, as well as individual bundle items on Chamberlain Coffee's website. “Working with Kendall and 818 on this was such a blast. The whole thing came together naturally because we adore each other and adore espresso martinis with tequila,” Chamberlain said in a statement. “We played around and ended up creating a unique take on an espresso martini that we know people will love. The Chamberlain Coffee Candied Pecan Cold Brew Singles with the 818 Tequila Reposado flavors is nutty and sweet and perfect. I am so excited for people to try it.” Jenner added: “I’m so happy that 818 is collaborating with Chamberlain, Emma and I have been wanting our brands to do something fun together. We’re not only creating something delicious together — we’re settling the debate, once and for all, that espresso martinis taste best when they’re made with tequila.” The Candied Pecan cold brew singles and 818 Tequila Reposado also are available for purchase on Gopuff in participating cities.

One in three Americans hate the taste of tap water.

According to a February study commissioned by German company air up, innovators of a scent-based water system, Americans recognize the importance of staying hydrated, saving money and using fewer plastic bottles by drinking tap water, but aren’t ready to give up their old habits.

Surveying 1,000 U.S. adults ages 18 and older — from taste preferences to daily intake habits — the survey results paint a picture of America’s hydration culture, the company says.

“Although there is an increasing consumer focus on health and sustainability, nearly one in three Americans say they dislike the flavor of tap water and more than two-thirds (63%) select bottled water as their top choice for consuming drinking water,” it notes.

Key highlights of the survey include:

TruMoo, a farmer-owned brand from Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), in collaboration with Lucasfilm, released Star Wars TruMoo Blue Milk, inspired by “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.” This exciting collaboration not only offers a taste inspired by a galaxy far, far away, but also harnesses the power of real-dairy milk with 8 grams of protein in each 8-ounce serving to fuel adventures of all kinds, the company says. “TruMoo is all about fun and flavor, so we’re always looking for new and innovative ways to bring the joys of flavored milk from our family farms to families across the country,” said Rachel Kyllo, senior vice president of innovation and marketing for DFA Dairy Brands, in a statement. “With the mass cross-generational appeal that the Star Wars franchise offers, we’re excited to see fans of all ages indulging in this delicious beverage that’s also a good source of protein for strong muscles.” The Star Wars TruMoo Blue Milk comes in half gallons and can be found in the dairy section at select retailers in most major markets as well as DoorDash in select locations, it notes. Star Wars TruMoo Blue Milk is available to purchase while supplies last through July.
