Wild Common, a small batch and sustainably made tequila and mezcal company, unveiled its first Añejo: a rich, high-proof expression born from volcanic soil and patient hands, it says. Crafted from 100% blue weber agave grown in the lowland valley of Jalisco, this Añejo carries the DNA of its terrain, the company notes. The Añejo’s delivers a harmony of cooked agave, raisins, warm spices, candied ginger and dates that evolve as the spirit opens in the glass, according to the company. On the nose, it reveals an aromatic bouquet of delicate florals, raw honey, fresh tarragon and subtle cinnamon, it adds. Packaged in a 750-ml bottle, Wild Common’s Tequila Añejo is available to purchase online at shop.wildcommon.com for a suggested retail price of $95 and will roll out at select retailers in Arizona, California, Canada, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas and Wyoming, it notes.

Brooklyn Brewery is expanding its portfolio with the addition of Playa de Brooklyn, a bright lime lager first introduced as a small-batch Tasting Room release. Playa de Brooklyn struck a chord with drinkers for its lighter, citrus-forward flavor after debuting as a limited-edition offering in Brooklyn Brewery’s Tasting Room in 2022, it says. The popularity of the crisp, bright lager brewed with warm-weather gatherings in mind prompted a move to the core portfolio, allowing it to be more widely available for year-round enjoyment, the company notes. Brewed with Hallertau and Saaz hops, the 4.8% ABV Playa de Brooklyn delivers a balanced profile: fresh and zesty with a hint of lime that lifts every sip, the company says. Playa de Brooklyn is available to purchase year-round in six-packs of 12-ounce cans and bottles, as well as on draft.

Holla Spirits introduced its first canned cocktails, available in two flavors: Orange Crush and Watermelon Crush. Thanks to updates to the Pennsylvania Liquor Code signed into law last fall, Pennsylvanians now can purchase canned ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails at permitted retailers outside of the state store system, the company notes. Holla’s 12-ounce slim canned cocktails will make their way to grocery chains, convenience stores, golf courses, country clubs and other points of purchase throughout the Mid-Atlantic, it says. Holla’s vodkas are seven-times distilled, gluten-free, non-GMO and vegan. Most of the company’s flavored vodka ingredients come from craft and natural flavor providers, it notes.
